This Privacy Policy describes in detail our commitments and practices regarding the collection, use, sharing, retention and protection of your personal data.

ORAY is the only recipient of your personal data. It will never be transmitted or communicated to a third party, except:

  • the service providers we use to respond to your requests (e.g. address and telephone number communicated to a carrier),
  • trusted third parties who help us operate our website or conduct our business, as long as those parties agree to keep such information confidential.

We believe that it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, alleged fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical security of any person, violations of our terms and conditions of use, or when the law requires us to do so.

Non-private information, however, may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Data conservation

Your personal information is kept for the period necessary for the purposes set out in paragraph "Use of information".

This duration cannot exceed:

  • 3 years from the date of the last activity, when your data is used for marketing purposes,
  • 6 years for tax documents,
  • 10 years for accounting documents,
  • the entire duration of any litigation and until the exhaustion of remedies.

Your rights

In order to keep control of your personal data, you have the following rights:

  • Right of opposition
    • You have the right to object to the reuse of your data for solicitation purposes, in particular for commercial prospecting,
    • You have the right to oppose the processing of this data, for legitimate reasons, unless it meets a legal obligation (e.g. tax files).
  • Right of access and rectification
    • You have the right to access all information concerning you,
    • You have the right to know the origin of the information concerning you,
    • You have the right to organise the management of your data after your death,
    • You can obtain a copy of the data we hold concerning you,
    • You may require that your data be rectified, completed, updated or deleted, as appropriate.

You can exercise your rights:

  • By letter: accompanying your request with a copy of an identity document. Ideally, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt
  • By form: available by clicking HERE and enclosing a copy of an identity document.

Upon receipt of your request, we may:

  • Respond favourably within a maximum of one month,
  • refuse the request for access, providing the reasons for our decision and informing you of the ways and time limits for appealing against it.
  • not respond to requests that are manifestly unfair, in particular by their number, their repetitive or systematic nature (for example, request for a full copy of information every week).

If you consider that we do not comply with our obligations in terms of Personal Data, you can lodge a complaint with the competent authority, the CNIL:

Protection of information

We implement a variety of security measures to safeguard the security of your personal information. We use state-of-the-art encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online. We also protect your information offline. Only employees who need it for specific work (for example, billing or customer service) have access to personally identifiable information. Computers and servers used to store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.


We do not use cookies to collect your information.


We use the email address you provide to send you information and updates about your order, company news on an occasional basis, information on related products, etc.
